Tonight, before she ascended the stairs to get ready for bed, I told my oldest (aka #1) how proud I was of her for being conscientious, smart, beautiful, sweet, kind to others, etc.
She smiled a humble smile, said "thank you", then hugged me.
And then, in her truly blonde fashion, she looked at me, and smiled a vacuous smile and said, "You smell good."

hahahahahaha!!!! hey, it was a compliment--take what you can get, she's 13!
Oh, trust me, I DID take it as a compliment.... have you smelled me lately? P.U.!!!! Thankfully, I don't smell as bad as most of the gym rats that work out at "le grande gym".
Your oldest looked so poised and elegant last night. I know you are very proud of her.
Blessings.
