I dared to climb upon the scales this morning at Curves, and I have lost a few pounds (yay! and there was much rejoicing). Also, I got an awesome and much needed haircut this afternoon. (Bridgit rocks!) And then, King said that he could see a difference and that my hard work was paying off. (whooo hooo)
So, suffice it to say I am floating a little above the ground today.

MG,
This is my first time at your blog. I just came over from your comments at Testosterhome about the seminarian's remark to thank you for a little understanding! You were one of less than a handful of people who seemed to relate to my objections, at least at some level! I didn't even know that the discussion had been continued over at Rachel's blog and was really surprised when I happened upon her post! :) It was a little disconcerting...
Anyway, I totally loved your follow-up remark about Romeo and Juliet in ebonics--that was hilarious, and, YES, a great analogy!! And I have to say, it was even funnier to picture you thinking it with toothpaste in your mouth! Too funny!
By the way, congratulations on the results from exercising! It gets harder with time, doesn't it? Way to go! (See, I'm not such a fuddy-duddy. I can slang--just not about GOD, at Mass, please ;) ) --J.C.
We used to belong to the same parish that Rachel's family attends, and that is one of the things I miss most - the beautiful, formal, respectful reverence which is given to Our Lord there.
There is no reason at all we should "lower the bar" just because they are teens.
HURRAHHHHHHH!!!!!! atta girl! i'm sending you a cyber pat on the back. i'm so proud of your accomplishment. keep up the good work!!!!
love you!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hooray!!! Whooo-hoooo! You go, girl!!
