is it ok to just think bad words rather than get in a person's personal space and scream right at their face?

oKay. breathe.

I am thinking I didn't make a big enough fuss when #3 ruined the brand new dining room table with nail polish remover. Which isn't a bad thing necessarily.... however, I guess Number 1 wasn't paying attention to the lesson-du-jour, because the three spots she made on the table today were MUCH WORSE.

You may have to ban nail polish and remover!!!

New rule: no nail polish/remover allowed outside of bathroom. Sit them down and explain in that calm, low mother voice which is about 100 times more frightened and effective than yelling. Go for it.

Anita, I did that the first time - honest abe! I don't think Numero Uno was had colored her roots at that point though.
I have a friend with adult children who swears that one day I will look upon these (now four) spots on the table and feel nostalgic. I sure hope she is right.

One day you will be sitting at the table thinking about her because she is off at college and you will run your hand across those spots and you WILL miss her. I PROMISE!!!
