It's less than 5 days until number 3 makes her First Holy Communion! We were supposed to do a novena (pray each night for 9 days) to help us all prepare our hearts for the big day. We did really well for the first 3 nights......
*insert sound of crickets chirping here*
..... I swear, my kids got gypped in the ol' mom and dad department.

What with social, making THE dress, planning First Communion, planning #1's birthday party, the academic banquet, and gearing up for the end of school I am pretty sure God understands your partial novena.
In fact, he's probably bestowing extra graces and blessings on you right now!
Well, tonight, she and I sat on the couch, snuggled up, and made up those days/scripture readings. It was a very special time spent between the two people who most thought it was important. So, in that respect, I have cashed in on the extra blessings.
