autumn

New cowboy boots and a big pile of leaves to play in. Other than a pumpkin pie in the oven, what could be any better about this time of year?

Our family has so much to be thankful for. King and I are looking so forward to next week: kids being out of school, time spent together with no constraints on our time...

What are some things your family is enjoying/thankful for this season?

We learned a bit ago that our family (husband's side) has something extra special to be thankful for... my nephew, who has battled Langerhans Hystiocytosis twice now (which involves chemo) just got a "clean bill of health" at his 3 month post treatment check up. His parents had found what they thought was going to be a new lesion, but thankfully the docs said it wasn't. We were holding our breath there for awhile!
